Matt Hart and Callum Robinson founded Fabric after years working across large multi-residential and commercial projects in Melbourne.

That background shaped a strong outfit equipped for technically demanding work and commercially disciplined delivery. Callum began as a carpenter before moving into site and design management. Matt’s experience spans estimating, tendering, contracts and project management. Across the wider team, that experience extends through architecture, engineering, quantity surveying, procurement, design coordination, structure, facade, fitout and site delivery.

Cost, held

Cost control begins before construction. Pricing is worked through carefully, trade by trade, with risks identifi ed and construction options tested before the budget is fixed. Where a smarter way to build can protect cost without compromising the design, it is raised early.

Program, kept

A program only works when it reflects what is happening on site. Clear sequencing, senior oversight and direct communication keep clients, consultants and trades aligned on what happens next. Issues are raised while there is still time to act.

Quality, checked

Quality is built into the process, not inspected at the end. The standard is established before each trade begins and followed through structure, facade and fitout. The best defect is the one caught before it disappears.

Together, these controls give clients earlier visibility over the decisions that affect cost, timing and the finished building. Fabric’s senior team remains closely involved from pre-construction through to handover.
